Postcard Exchange

I am a postcard junkie! Over the years and during my travels I have picked up numerous postcards. I have also received some from friends while they were on holiday in Europe. I am known to purchase anywhere from 5 to 15 postcards whenever I am on the road. Not counting the 3 below, I probably have well over 100 of these little mementos. I am a postcard junkie!

I have joined a Postcard Exchange, and if you are interested in joining, please click on one or both of the links below. If you are interested in receiving a postcard from me, send me an email at frggygrl@aol.com.

As I receive Postcards, I will post a picture of them here. They will appear in the order they are received. If there is something interesting on the back (i.e. the info on the back of the "Lucy" card), I will scan that as well and post.

I want to share with you what Pamela wrote on the back of the postcard: "Summers in Newport are glorious - sailing, walking on the beach, historic mansions to tour, lots of great restaurants. Rhode Island is the smallest of the fifty states but has lots to do and see. Pamela"

I have to agree that the Northeast and specifically the New England area has lots to do and see all year long.

Florida is such a big tourist state that it wouldn't do it justice to put the "Visit Florida" website on my home page like I have with the other postcards received. Instead, I will focus on Tampa for now. I will change it when I receive a different postcard from Florida.

Tampa is such a culturally diverse city. There are many things to do from boating on the river to walking through Lowery Park Zoo. You can jump on a cruise ship and head out into the Gulf of Mexico or stay in the city and visit Historic Ybor - where many a cigar were made!  And don't forget the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Tampa Bay Rays (and the Tampa Lightning for those hockey fans out there)!

Utah

Kansas.

Washington State. Wouldn't you just love to walk   through those tulips???
Need I say more? One state I have never really had a desire to visit, but this postcard has made me change my mind! Thank you so much Tammy!

This postcard came from Carol in Wisconsin. I love homemade cards so this one is especially endearing to me. Thanks so much!!

You know what's neat about this card? Well, if you read in her remarks to me, you will see where she has a bottle of Zephyrhills Water, which is made in and distributed from where I live. It's a small world!!!
