Overwhelmed....Pumpkins
I decided to post an updated picture of my progress on The Great Pumpkin Conspiracy. I will have it finished this weekend for sure! Here is the latest picture:
I woke up this morning to find a wonderful surprise on my kitchen table: that huge giveaway that I won over at Cindy Mae's blog at the end of 2009! Yay!!! I am a bit overwhelmed with all of the goodies inside the package and so thankful to be the recipient of such a wonderful prize! Thank you so very much Cindy Mae! :D
Here are some pictures of my winnings:
Group 1
(you will notice that Cindy Mae included a small stitched piece and a couple of her cording)
Group 2
Group 3
Front of stitched piece by Cindy Mae. I just love it!!!
Back of stitched piece
Even Sandy had to take a look at all of the stash I received!
I am not sure what I want to do first, but there are a couple of front-runners for sure.
I will post another update on the finished Great Pumpkins tomorrow along with the latest Postcards received.
Don't forget to check out my "Giveaways" links in the side bar at right. There are some incredible giveaways happening right now!
And a big heartfelt WELCOME to all of my new followers! I am going to have to be more diligent on welcoming you sooner.

Postcards Are Coming In...
I received 3 new postcards today! I managed to mail out 10 postcards this morning on my way to work. I know that I will be getting at least 1 postcard from France sometime in the next month as my best friend is going home (Nantes) for a visit this weekend. She is awesome about mailing me a postcard while on vacation.
Here is a snapshot of those received so far:
For a full view of each, check out my Postcard Exchange page.
I have made a little more progress on The Great Pumpkin Conspiracy, but still not finished. I have been a bit achy and tired from the Holiday delivery schedule. I plan to get back on track and have it finished this week and get some more work done on the Christmas Design SAL hosted by Yoyo.
I am also officially in my final semester at Vermont College of Union Institute and will be busily finishing my MA Thesis over the next several weeks. Therefore, I don't plan to have much stitching time during the daylight hours. As with last term, I do plan to devote my weekends to stitching and other activities as I am sure I will need a break from time to time from reading and writing, LOL!
'Til next time...
