Update on Latest Project

As you can see, it's been a while since my last post. With the holidays and working on my thesis I haven't been able to spend much time on the Polska Sampler. I am uploading what I have done so far. Looking at the red against the white background, it is possible to see the patterns emerging through (the patterns are in white, the red floss is the border).

Hi and thanks for stopping by! I love the red on the Polska sampler--I hadn't seen it before. The 23rd psalm sampler is by Midsummer Night Designs, and it's called "Peaceful Paradise." I'm enjoying working on it, but stitching all the words gets tedious, so I set it aside lots. Good for you working on the thesis--I was many years ago an English major, so I remember the huge amount of work it takes for major papers. The writing requirement for these accounting and business courses is minimal (and most accountants don't seem to write very well anyway), and it's sort of refreshing that there's actually a right answer and wrong answer for most everything I do on these courses--they're actually easier in that respect--no tortured pondering. Good luck on the paper AND the job search--what do you want to do?

I haven't quite figured out what I want to do. I have two passions: writing and teaching. I am taking the teacher certification test next month in Florida, so that's a start. I am hoping to have a job in an area school this fall.
